Hoffmann places 2nd / CROUSE Places 4th in the MID-ATLANTIC REGIONAL ELKS SOCCER SHOOT

On Saturday, March 7 2015 at the Frederick Indoor Sports Complex, Frederick, Md. the Elks held their 2015 Mid-Atlantic Regional Invitational Soccer Shoot Championship. .   In the U10 Girl competition  – Jenna Hoffman, (daughter of Marnie & Chad Hoffman of Amberson) scored 35points and placed 2nd.   U- 12 Girl – Addy Crouse, (daughter of Jennifer Crouse of Chambersburg & Travis Crouse of Chambersburg) placed 4th shooting a score of 34. Jenna Hoffman & Addy Crouse both represented the Chambersburg Elks Lodge # 600 , The South Central District and the State of Pennsylvania.  Pennsylvania shooters won the Regional championship by shooting a total of 281 points for the second year in a row.  All the shooters and their families were treated to a Pizza Pool Party Friday night and each shooter received a State Championship warm-up suit.  State champions from Ohio, Maryland, Delaware, District of Columbia, New Jersey, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania were in attendance and all had a fantastic time, compliments of the ELKS.  

Hoffmann & Crouse WIN Pennsylvania


On Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Mount Nittany Middle School, State College, Pa. the Elks held their Pennsylvania Soccer Shoot Championship. Eight area youths represented the South Central District. The results are as follows: U10 Girls – Jenna Hoffmann, (daughter of Marnie & Chad Hoffmann of Amberson. Pa.) became the 2014 Pa. U-10 Girls PA. State Champion with a score of 38. U12 Girl – Addy Crouse, (daughter of Jennifer Crouse of Chambersburg & Travis Crouse of Chambersburg) became the 2014 Pa. U-12 Girls State Champion with a score of 39.  Addy won the 2013 Pa State Championship and defended her title by setting a new South Central District Record shooting a 44. Other Shooters were:  U-8 Boy – Colton Hunsecker (son of Rodney & Shannon Hunsecker of Fayetteville, Pa.) shot a perfect score of 45 and then placed 2nd shooting 15 in the shoot out. U8 Girls – Alexia Fancovic,  (daughter of Amber Heist of Lebanon, Pa.) Alexia scored 35points and placed 2nd; U- 10 boy Kyle Baker, (son of Mandy & David Baker of Greencastle, Pa.) Kyle scored 37 and placed 3rd, U12 boy Kyle Buchheister, (son of Tracey & John Buchheister of Shippensburg, Pa), Kyle scored 29 points and placed 6th.  In the U-14 Girls division Kylee Long (daughter of Jaime & Adam Long of Greencastle, Pa.) scored 33 points placing 3rd and in the U14 Boys Caleb Richwine, (son of Kelly & Jason Richwine of Carlise) scored 30 points and placed him 3rd in the State.  All the shooters and their families were treated to a Pizza Pool Party Friday night at the Ramada Inn and had a fantastic time, compliments of the Elks.  Jenna Hoffmann & Addy Crouse will compete for the Mid-Atlantic National Competition on March 7, 2015 in Frederick, Md.


South Central District Soccer Shoot was held October 19th at Brightbill Park in Lower Paxton, near Harrisburg. There were 20 youth participating across the 8 age groups.  The results were as follows:
